Pasay City, Philippines - The Board of Trustees of the Global AI Council - Philippines had a meeting at the sidelines of the Manila Tech Summit on August 7, 2024 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom.
The Trustees are also the founders of the Philippine chapter of the US-based Global AI Council, an international AI education advocacy that was formed to promote "AI for Good".
The multisectoral team is led by Brian Poe Llamanzares, Chairman, a tech investor and entrepreneur with a significant role in the Philippine Senate. Donald Lim, President of DITO CME Holdings, serves as the council's President. Catz Jalandoni, an international events producer and consultant specializing in advocacy-driven activations, is the Executive Director.
The other trustees are Atty. Mark Gorriceta, a prominent tech lawyer; Usec. Anton Mauricio, General Manager of the NDC; and Vanessa Tanco-Reyes, President & CEO of iAcademy.
